Cinco de Mayo Inspiration! Spanish theme Bridal Shower

Cristina, a lovely bride, asked me to help with her Spanish theme Bridal Shower and Cinco de Mayo Wedding.

Her friends coordinated and hosted the bridal shower, from decorating with ivory lace, to delicious Mexican homemade wedding cookies, which I baked as a thank you to this beautiful bride to be. I handmade Mexican paper flowers, which each guest pinned in their hair.

Cristina thanked her friends for hosting her bridal shower with South Coast Winery (Temecula, CA) wine bottles. I designed handmade tag, with red silk ribbon tied around the bottle and added a silk red rose. Such lovely gifts! I used a computer font, which Cristina selected for these lovely gift tags and added a special touch by using a Martha Stewart paper edge-punch.

For her wedding I also created handmade, computer font, gift tags for her favor boxes and gifts.

Exciting News! Intro to Pointed Pen Modern Calligraphy is here!

We are so excited to say that we are officially in business! It's been a wonderful journey of learning new calligraphy skills to be able to teach and inspire future calligraphers! I want to thank my family for their support! My daughter, Marissa helped design my website and my daughter Analissa is the graphic designer who helps me digitize my art work! To all of the lovely calligraphers/artists on Instagram who have shared so many of their skills, you truly have inspired me to start my business and share it with others!

It is with great joy that I present to you "Sea & Sun Calligraphy," a handwritten, calligraphy business focused on teaching calligraphy to those who desire to learn this art, from pointed pen, oblique pen, fountain pen, brush lettering and using markers.
