Terms and Conditions when Featuring our Designs or Collaborating with Sea and Sun Calligraphy
When purchasing our stationery or collaborating with
Sea & Sun Calligraphy we kindly ask to be properly credited when featuring our products online for customer events, branding styled shoots, or editorial styled shoots. Every time that our stationery is featured in a photo/video on social media, online blog, website, or printed publication we asked to be properly credited using our business name, Sea and Sun Calligraphy, providing the link to our website, and our Instagram account @sea.and.sun.calligraphy

If you are a vendor and would love to collaborate with us on a styled shoot, please note we are currently working with our client events.
Our stationery in our shop is not available for purchase for branding shoots and styled shoots WE ARE NOT A PART OF.
We now charge to design custom stationery for styled shoots and branding shoots.
Wedding clients, please visit our Stationery Shop to purchase paper goods for your event.
If you are a vendor/photographer and have purchased our items in the past and have photographed them for clients, events, styled shoots, and branding shoots and they have been featured online, on a website, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, on other social media we kindly ask that you always credit Sea and Sun Calligraphy when sharing photos of our styled stationery products and please provide the information where they have been featured and email the photo gallery to Marisol at sea.and.sun.calligraphy@gmail.com so that we can share the photo gallery of how our products were used so that we can share your collaboration on our social media and website.
We will properly credit all participating vendors. If our products have been featured on a vendor blog or website we ask that Sea and Sun Calligraphy be credited when featuring our products participating in a styled shoot or if our product was used during a styled shoot we were not a part of.

Our Vow Books are not sold for Styled Shoots or to Vendors
Our vow books are solely created for real Brides & Grooms. They are not for sale to be used in styled shoots or to be used as props by photographers. Here is our explanation why and we hope you respect our policy.

How to Credit Sea and Sun Calligraphy when featuring our Designs
When vendors or clients are featuring our stationery products in photographs, online, on the Internet, on a Website, any social media platform, printed publication, have submitted for publication, or Blog, we kindly ask that
Sea and Sun Calligraphy be notified where it has been published/featured, and that our products are properly credited and the photo gallery of our photographed products be emailed to
Please provide this information to the online publications that will be publishing our custom stationery and to all vendors participating in the styled shoot

Paid Branding Shoot/Editorial
If the Vendor hosting a styled shoot is Getting Paid to coordinate it or hosting a retreat/event and is charging clients who attend, we consider this an event. We now offer editorial stationery designs starting at $125 + tax and shipping fees. Custom love letters start at $55 each. We do not sell our vow books for styled shoots as they are exclusively sold to Sea & Sun Calligraphy real brides (clients).
Our stationery designs available are invitations suite, place cards, 8 menu cards for a reception tablescapes.
If the items were not paid for but just borrowed for a styled shoot, we ask that the stationery be shipped back or brought back to our home studio with all styling props, ribbons, and accessories that were provided. If any items are missing the client/vendor should return them if not returned they will be invoiced for the items they borrowed. We kindly ask that the vendor return the borrowed items to Sea and Sun Calligraphy within 1-2 days after the styled shoot is over.
If the client paid for stationery for their wedding, a vendor for their own branding shoot/styled shoot, they can keep the items if that is what was agreed upon. We retain the copyrights on the product/stationery so when submitting photographs of our paper goods to be featured we ask to be properly credited. We ask that the photo gallery of the styled shoot and the list of vendors be emailed to

so that we can share your event on our Social media and Website to our followers and future clients. Every time our products are featured online, social media or published in print we ask that we receive notification of where our stationery designs were featured and that Sea and Sun Calligraphy be properly credited in the feature/publication.
If our product is featured in an online or social media account or Blog and not properly credited we will first contact the client who purchased the paper goods, borrowed the stationery, or host of the styled shoot. If there is no reply we will contact the source who has featured our product and professionally/kindly ask that they credit our stationery business provide the information to properly credit
Sea and Sun Calligraphy, even if we were not told our stationery was going to be used at a styled shoot, but our custom stationery was. Usually, Blogs or Magazine publishers are very polite when informing them to properly credit a vendor or product that was accidentally left out. This has been my experience when contacting them to properly credit my business. They have been the kindest! They don't take down the editorial for leaving a vendor out on the credits. They are actually happy to add more vendors to the credits.
When collaborating with us please provide the list of vendors and the photo gallery so that we can properly credit them and share the beautiful inspiration with our clients and followers.
For events or weddings, we ask our clients to please provide a list of all the vendors collaborating in their event so that when sharing the photo gallery of our paper goods and vice versa we may properly credit all participating vendors. All vendors we have collaborated with, if featured on our website will be properly credited on our photo credit page.
Sole Stationery Designer for Styled Shoots/Retreats
For Styled Shoots/Retreats | When working with Sea and Sun Calligraphy Custom stationery, we kindly ask that I be the sole stationery designer on board. At times that is not the case so we ask that we be notified of this before I agree to participate in the editorial/styled shoot. If working with a wedding planner on an editorial I ask for a phone consult before proceeding. We kindly ask that our stationery NOT be styled in the same photo with other stationer's invitation designs. Please read for further explanation.
Styled Shoot Stationery Exclusivity Agreement
In order for us to participate in a styled shoot, we ask to be the only stationery designer featured in the styled shoot. We participate in styled shoots for marketing purposes. We take pride in our stationery and combining other stationery to other invitation/wedding stationery would not represent our stationery brand and we would not be able to share these photos online for marketing purposes by sharing another stationery designer's products on our website or social media accounts. This is a conflict of interest. This is why we ask to be the exclusive stationery designer. By using or purchasing our products, you affirm that no other stationery designer's paper goods will be on scene at the styled shoot, and styled with our products or featured in the same photo with our stationery. We kindly ask that no other stationery designer's work be incorporated into our designs or vice versa or styled on any FLATLAY. We pay close attention to those details. We use bride and groom names, event locations, dates on our stationery that might not match the wedding stationery information from another stationery designer.
Our stationery cannot be used to embellish another wedding stationery designer's paper goods during any styled shoot on a flat lay. We believe in #communityovercompetition but we take pride in our stationery that best represents our unique and timeless stationery brand. Bride and Groom names will not match other stationery designer's stationery.
By photographing our stationery at a styled shoot with another stationery vendor's design this does not represent our brand. If we design an invitation it must only be styled and photographed with our stationery which we have provided for the styled shoot and ribbons CANNOT BE CHANGED FOR ANOTHER COLOR RIBBON WE DID NOT PROVIDE FOR THE EVENT. As it is the ribbon we use for our brand as we use photos to market our products. Each creative stationery designer has a lettering and design style of their own please do not mix our stationery with another stationery brand.
It is our utmost desire that our clients have an amazing experience working with our stationery and to be awe-inspired when styling with florals, shoes, jewelry, and antiques with the possibility of it being featured or published. We could not do this without the effort and creativity of all participating vendors and for this, we are so grateful!! :-)
Lost Stationery
We are not responsible for lost stationery. Once the client has signed off our stationery form that they have picked up the stationery items or I have been notified that the stationery has been delivered by USPS by the tracking number, we are not responsible or required to recreate the stationery designs for the contracted event. This has happened to our stationery in a previous styled shoot. There will be an additional fee to recreate the stationery depends on our availability.
If the stationery is lost we will courteously notify the owner of the company hosting the event letting them know we are not responsible for the misplaced stationery by their wedding planning staff.
Please email us the list of vendors when requesting our editorial stationery services this gives us an idea if the editorial will be a great fit for our stationery aesthetic.

We love working with clients, wedding photographers, and designers who will represent our brand at its finest to ensure our stationery's quality is truly captured.
We asked that all of our paper goods be photographed clearly and if any photographs were taken of a model holding our stationery that their nails be well-groomed for those close-up shots so that we can share the lovely details with our clients. We also "Love" blurred pictures because they are beautiful and we don't mind a few. But sometimes our stationery is so blurred out that we are not able to share these photos with our clients to show them the details of the stationery and calligraphy. Please include clear high-resolution photos of each product preferably without any watermarks.
For each styled shoot, Sea and Sun Calligraphy may send an inspirational mood board sharing which type of photos we would like photographed at the styled shoot that we could add to our portfolio.
Lastly, we have been on many adventurous styled shoots and are now focusing on our clients inquiring about our stationery for weddings and events. If there is a styled shoot you plan on publishing in a well-known wedding magazine we would love to hear from you! This would be the next milestone/achievement for Sea and Sun Calligraphy. Please contact us to check our availability.
Please contact me and provide your name, company name, list of vendors who will participate in the editorial, the date of the Stylized Shoot, which paper goods are needed, location, the type of event, and most importantly, a Clear Vision of the stationery sample designs you would like, using an inspiration board, including the theme color, a photo example of the type of stationery being requested. I apologize but we cannot provide last-minute stationery as we might not be able to accommodate your needs due to our schedule availability.

I am an Internationally published Stationer | Calligrapher | Botanical Watercolor Artist | & Wedding Stationery Designer, based in San Pedro, in southern California. I design Custom Wedding stationery for weddings & Editorial styled shoots. please note there are many calligraphy techniques my handwritten modern calligraphy is created using a Pointed calligraphy pen, which is dipped in a vintage inkwell.
Paper goods add an elegant touch to stylized editorials. I do require a 5-6 weeks notice before any editorial styled shoot.
